Shimmering silk and cuddly wool in artistic duet
Design carpet Giudecca was designed by Italian duo Zanellato/Bortotto Studio for cc-tapis. He was inspired by a Venetian staircase, which was covered with water in the lagoon. The different shades of gray form the stone steps, marked by salt and the influences of time, the shimmering blues and greens evoke the sea and the vibration of the waves. Venice and its magical atmosphere are represented by the carpet Giudecca in a new contemporary vision.
The carpet is completely hand-knotted and is made in the cc-tapis studio in Nepal from Himalayan wool and pure silk.
