Shipping Partner & Package Tracking

We work with DHL, which provides reliable tracking of delivery for you.
As soon as a shipment leaves our warehouse, you as a customer will receive a notification with the tracking number of the package via email. Thus, you can track the route of the shipment yourself and prepare for the receipt of the goods in time.

 

Shipping by forwarder

The shipment of bulky goods is carried out by forwarding. Unless otherwise agreed, in this case, as is customary with freight forwarding, delivery is free curbside.
Likewise, you have the option to use our premium service for a fee. Two men delivery is provided indoors, i.e. to your living room or similar. If the goods are unpacked immediately after delivery, the forwarding agent will gladly take the packaging material and take care of the disposal. Please note that for liability reasons only you may unpack the goods yourself.

Self pickup in our Munich showroom

You have the possibility to pick up your ordered products in our Munich showroom. Our showroom is located in the middle of Maxvorstadt and there is a stopping and charging facility on site. Of course, we will inform you about the delivery time of your ordered item by email. You can pick up your item during our opening hours. If this is not possible for you, we are also happy to arrange an appointment outside of our opening hours.

Transport damages and complaints

Your order has been carefully packed and checked for shipment in our house. But damage that may occur during transport can not be ruled out. Therefore, we ask you to immediately upon receipt of your delivery to check the goods for completeness and any transport damage with care.

What to do in case of transport damage?
If, despite all due care, transport damage has occurred, we recommend not accepting the goods or signing the delivery bill with the remark “subject to reservation”.

In order for us to send you a flawless item quickly, please report the damage in writing as soon as possible, preferably within 4 days, both to the delivery company and to us at shop@stephanie-thatenhorst.com. We have the possibility to apply for compensation from our deliverers within 4 days, so we ask for your kind cooperation.

What to do if you have accepted the goods despite our recommendation and they are damaged?
In this case, please send us digital photos of the damage by e-mail, indicating the invoice no. so that we can submit a damage declaration in the correct form to our insurance company. In parallel, we will work with you to organize the return of the goods and ensure that you receive a replacement quickly.
Of course, the above information in no way limits your statutory warranty claim, but is merely a request for assistance in the event of damage.
