A piece of furniture as a design object
With sculptural and almost monumental forms, Stool Golia shows an unusual combination of materials: raw, solid concrete together with colored resin.
The concrete base has a special effect achieved by corrosion with sea salt, which brings the material to life. The thick resin plate reflects the outside world through its depth and changes according to the surrounding lights.
Stool Golia comes from the collection “Transparency Matters”, presented at Milan Design Week in 2019. All products in the collection are handmade in the Draga&Aurel studio in Como, each piece is unique.
